My novel just inaugurated! It's the hilarious tale of a family that learns to train people the way they train goats. Nasty opposition appears, and it seems too big to fight. But Claire Jaynes & family build powerful alliances while they trek wild goats, make viral animal videos, and sell goat cheese to save the farm. Happily, they make the world safe for training the mammal brain.
Why did I write a novel?
I was very influenced by novels assigned in college psychology and history classes (ie. Walden 2 and The First Circle), so I always thought novels are a great way to communicate.
I want uplifting entertainment after a hard day's work, but much fiction is depressing. I wanted to create a healthy way to unwind.
Monkeys are not accessible in our daily lives, so I wanted to show our mammalian impulses in a more accessible animal.
I think you'll like The Jane Goodall of Goats for these reasons. It's a fun way to find your power over your inner mammal and help others find theirs.
